Ravi Prasad Gurunathan is a Graduate Engineer at Basic Expert, with a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, he integrates analytical problem-solving and technical expertise to support building safety and regulatory compliance efforts.
Ravi holds a Master of Professional Mechanical Engineering from Monash University, Australia, and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from SASTRA University, India.

During his time at Monash, he worked as a Research Support Officer, focusing on additive manufacturing in metals, particularly Selective Laser Melting (SLM) processes and their design applications. He was also part of the Industry Innovation Program, where he played a key role in redesigning the cooling system for Tasty Fresh Food Co.’s next-generation food trucks, significantly improving efficiency.
At Basic Expert, Ravi applies his technical and analytical skills to develop effective approaches in engineering projects, drawing on his background in mechanical engineering and project management to deliver optimal outcomes that align with the project's core objectives and client priorities.
